I'm Loving...

I'm Loving the colour...

OXBLOOD/WINE/BURGUNDY


Different names but in my eyes the same sort of colour. I personally describe this colour as a sort of 'dirty dark red.' For me this colour is British. I have no idea why, but I see it and it reminds me of Britain! The only other time I've seen the colour name 'Oxblood' is to describe horse-riding boots. But as you can all see equestrian style clothing and accessories are MASSIVE this coming season!It seems Topshop (once again) is coming up top trumps with clothing/shoes/accessories in this colour. I did search around but my favourite pieces were from good ol' Topshop.

I can literally imagine a head to toe outfit ALL this colour.. although that would probably be over-kill.. but it is so beautiful!

    I'm one hundred percent loving it! The post I did today features a coat in this colour that I'm soo obsessed with ha-ha and I'm not exagerating when I say I would love to buy everything in that middle picture 'selection' just beautiful!

    I'm loving this colour too and the mustard that seems to be everywhere. Primark had a lovely big chinky knit cardi in this colour on the weekend x

    I completely agree with you that this colour seems very 'British' and I can't put my finger on exactly why either. I tend to just call this colour 'berry' at the moment because it is quite hard to describe. I am looking forward to more stuff coming out in this colour as we move closer to AW11, I've already started wearing it. Its just such a complimenting colour.
